Research

Focus of faculty research: Biology faculty conduct research on a range of topics including organismal biology on fishes, mammals, insects, and plants, and studies on cell cell biology, microbiology, developmental biology, DNA repair, and yeast genetics and aging. Chemistry faculty are engaged in research on instrumentation, pharmaceutical drug synthesis and analysis, and computational modeling.
